One duty that MAST takes quite seriously is public information. If science is to continue to grow and be supported by the public it is vital that the public have good information about science. MAST will, as required, make press releases and articles to raise public awareness of scientific issues where we feel that something has been misreported, or not given enough emphasis.
Most recently we have begun developing the idea of a Science Discovery Center.
